A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. These issues are caused by errors in the ATL headers that handle instantiation of an object from data streams, which could allow attackers to instantiate arbitrary objects in Internet Explorer that can bypass certain related security policies, leading to code execution.
