Technical Description

A vulnerability has been identified in IBM AIX and VIOS, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the calendar daemon library "libcsa.a" when processing an overly long request for remote procedure 21, which could allow remote attackers to crash an affected daemon or execute arbitrary code.
