A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by an array indexing error in the "Smb2ValidateProviderCallback()" function within the "SRV2.SYS" kernel driver when processing malformed SMB Negociate requests, which could allow remote attackers to crash an affected system or potentially execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted SMB packet.
