A vulnerability has been identified in CA Software Delivery, Unicenter Software Delivery, Advantage Data Transport, and IT Client Manager, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the Data Transport Services "dtscore" library when processing specially crafted requests, which could be exploited by remote unauthenticated attackers to crash an affected server or execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
