A vulnerability has been identified in Akamai Download Manager, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in "manager.exe" when handling a malformed HTTP response while processing Redswoosh downloads, which could allow attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into visiting a malicious web page loading the ActiveX control.
