A vulnerability has been identified in Pidgin, which be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an out-of-memory error when parsing ICQ Web Messages as SMS messages, which could allow attackers to crash an affected application via a specially crafted message, creating a denial of service condition.
