A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft DirectX on Windows, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by an unspecified memory corruption error in "quartz.dll" when processing specially crafted QuickTime content, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted file or visiting a malicious web page.

Note: This vulnerability is currently exploited in the wild.
