Technical Description

A vulnerability has been identified in Ruby, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions. This issue is caused by an error when handling the return value of the "OCSP_basic_verify()" function, which could be exploited to cause an arbitrary or invalid X.509 certificate to be accepted.
