Technical Description

A vulnerability has been identified in Simple PHP News, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code. This issue is caused by an input validation error in the "post.php" script that does not validate user-supplied data (e.g. "post" parameter) before being written to the the "news.txt" file which is later included via the "display.php" script, which could be exploited by remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code with the privileges of the web server.

Solution
