A vulnerability has been identified in imlib2, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the "load()" [src/modules/loaders/loader_xpm.c] function when processing a specially crafted XPM file, which could be exploited to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a malicious file.
