Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Streamripper, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. These issues are caused by buffer overflow errors in the "http_parse_sc_header()", "http_get_pls()", and "http_get_m3u()" [lib/http.c] functions when processing an overly long HTTP header starting with "Zwitterion v", a pls playlist containing an overly long entry, or a m3u playlist containing an overly long "File" entry, which could be exploited to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into connecting to a malicious server.
