A vulnerability has been identified in Opera, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by a heap overflow error when processing an overly long "file://" URI, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into locally opening a malicious HTML file e.g. received as an email attachment.
