Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in GnuTLS, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security checks. This issue is caused by an error within X.509 certificate chain validation, which could allow Man-in-the-Middle attacks and trick GNU TLS clients into trusting spoofed names.
