Two vulnerabilities have been identified in FreeSSHd, which could be exploited by malicious users to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system. These issues are caused by buffer overflow errors when processing malformed arguments passed to various SFTP commands (e.g. "rename" or "realpath"), which could be exploited by authenticated attackers to crash an affected server or execute arbitrary code.
