A vulnerability has been identified in HP OpenView Reporter and Performance Agent, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error when processing a specially crafted sequence of RPC requests sent to port 5051/TCP or 5053/TCP, which could be exploited by unauthenticated attackers to cause an object to be incorrectly referenced and terminate the process, creating a denial of service condition.
