Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Nortel Multimedia Communication Server 5100, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security restrictions or cause a denial of service.
The first issue is caused due to a lack of verification of credentials when placing calls, which could be exploited to spoof or redirect calls.
The second vulnerability is caused by an error when handling UNIStim File Transfer Protocol (UFTP) messages with malformed "Connection Details" fields, which could be exploited to cause a denial of service.
