Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Numedia NMS DVD Burning SDK ActiveX, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system. These issues are caused due to the insecure methods "EnableLog()" and "LogMessage()" being included within the "NMSDVDX.dll" ActiveX Control, which could allow malicious web sites to create or overwrite arbitrary files on a vulnerable system.

Solution
Set a kill bit for the CLSID {C2FBBB5F-6FF7-4F6B-93A3-7EDB509AA938}.
