Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft Office Excel, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system or disclose sensitive information.
The first issue is caused by a memory corruption error when processing index values when loading Excel files into memory, which could be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
The second vulnerability is caused by a memory corruption error when processing an array index when loading Excel files into memory, which could be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
The third issue is caused by a memory corruption error when processing record values when loading Excel files into memory, which could be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
The fourth vulnerability is caused due to Excel not properly deleting the password string when the ".xlsx" file is configured to not save remote data session password, which could allow attackers to gain access to data that is password protected on a remote data source.
