Two vulnerabilities have been identified in libxslt, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system. These issues are caused by buffer overflow errors in "crypto.c" when handling a "crypto:rc4_encrypt" or "crypto:rc4_decrypt" function with an overly long argument, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into performing XSL transformations on malicious XSL stylesheets.
