>> RealNetworks RealPlayer Multiple Code Execution Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in RealNetworks RealPlayer, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system.
The first issue is caused by a memory corruption error in the "rmoc3260" ActiveX control when processing malformed values for the "Controls" or "Console" properties with a specific timing results, which could be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
The second vulnerability is caused by a stack overflow error in the "rjbdll.dll" module when handling the deletion of media library files, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious web page.
The third issue is caused by a heap overflow error within the handling of frames in Shockwave Flash (SWF) files, which could be exploited to compromise a vulnerable system.
The fourth issue is caused by an unspecified error related to a Local resource reference.
