Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Wireshark, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error when reassembling certain packets, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application by injecting malformed packets onto the wire or by convincing a user into reading a malicious packet trace file.
