Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in ISC BIND, which could be exploited by remote attackers to poison a vulnerable DNS cache. This issue is caused by errors with the randomness of transaction IDs that are generated by the DNS server, which could allow an attacker to poison the caching recurive resolvers with spoofed data and redirect Internet traffic from legitimate locations to a malicious address.
