A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Solaris, which could be exploited by remote or local attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an unspecified error in the Sun Solstice Enterprise SNMP-DMI mapper subagent daemon (snmpXdmid) when processing malformed packets, which could be exploited by attackers to kill the daemon process, creating a denial of service condition.
