A vulnerability has been identified in Borland Interbase 2007, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by an integer overflow error when processing a malformed packet sent to port 3050/TCP, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected server or execute arbitrary code. This vulnerability is related to : VUPEN/ADV-2008-0300
