Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in WordNet, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable web server. These issues are caused by buffer overflow errors in various functions (e.g. "searchwn" or "wngrep") when processing overly long arguments, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code.
