A vulnerability has been identified in Sun Solaris, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the TCP implementation when accepting new connections while undergoing a TCP "SYN Flood" attack, which could allow attackers to cause network connections to time out or cause a uniprocessor system to experience overall slowdown due to high CPU usage.
