A vulnerability has been identified in xine-lib, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by an error in the "sdpplin_parse()" [input/libreal/sdpplin.c] function when processing RTSP streams containing an overly large "streamid" SDP parameter, which could be exploited by attackers to overwrite arbitrary memory regions and execute malicious code via a specially crafted stream.
