|
A vulnerability has been identified in UnZip, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or compromise a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by an error in the "inflate_dynamic()" [inflate.c] function that passes invalid pointers to the "free()" routine while processing data read from a ZIP archive, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into extracting a malicious archive.

Solution
