A vulnerability has been identified in Evolution, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code. This issue is caused by a format string error in the "emf_multipart_encrypted()" [mail/em-format.c] function when displaying data (i.e. the "Version:" field) read from an encrypted email message, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into selecting a malicious message.
