Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in FreeBSD, which could be exploited by local attackers to bypass security restrictions and disclose sensitive information. This issue is caused by an error in the "sendfile" system call that does not check the file descriptor access flags before sending data read from a file, which could be exploited by malicious users to gain read access to write-only files.
