A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by malicious local users to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by an error within the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) that process does not properly handle specially crafted local procedure call (LPC) requests, which could be exploited by local authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
