Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Dovecot, which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security restrictions and disclose sensitive information. This issue is caused by errors in the "passdb_ldap_preinit()" [src/auth/passdb-ldap.c] and "userdb_ldap_preinit()" [src/auth/userdb-ldap.c] functions when authenticating two users with the same "password" and "pass_filter" variables, which could b exploited by a malicious user to log in with another user's cached "pass_attrs" and gain unauthorized access to the user's email directory.
