A vulnerability has been identified in Apple Mac OS X, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the VPN daemon (vpnd) when handling connection packets sent to port 4112/UDP, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a vulnerable daemon to crash or stop responding, creating a denial of service condition.
