A vulnerability has been identified in FreeBSD, which could be exploited by attackes to bypass security restrictions and gain knowledge of sensitive information. This issue is caused by an error in the internal state tracking on the "random" and "urandom" devices, which could be exploited to allow replaying of data distributed during subsequent reads, and determine fragments of random values previously read.
