Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Wesnoth, which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information, cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary commands.

The first issue is caused by an input validation error in the WML engine when processing filenames, which could be exploited by attackers to access and read the contents of arbitrary files via a directory traversal.

The second vulnerability is caused by an error in the "turn_cmd" option when handling certain add-ons, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary commands.
