Technical Description
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in various Macrovision products, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. These issues are caused by errors in the Update Service ActiveX control (isusweb.dll) that includes insecure methods, which could be exploited by attackers to download and execute arbitrary files on a vulnerable system by tricking a user into visiting a malicious web site.
