A vulnerability has been identified in Gentoo, which could be exploited by remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to a vulnerable system. This issue is caused by an error in the MLDonkey ebuild that creates the "p2p" user with a valid login shell and no password, which could be exploited by attackers to gain remote access to an affected system via e.g. SSH or telnet.

Solution
Change the p2p user's shell to disable login :
# usermod -s /bin/false p2p
