Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Cisco IOS and CatOS, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the implementation of the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) when processing malformed packets, which may be exploited by remote attackers to reload a vulnerable device, creating a denial of service condition.
