>> phpMyAdmin Multiple Variable Handling Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in phpMyAdmin, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code. These issues are caused by input validation errors in the "server_status.php", "libraries/common.inc.php", "libraries/common.lib.php", "libraries/display_change_password.lib.php", and "libraries/grab_globals.lib.php" scripts when processing the "PHP_SELF", "PATH_INFO", and "REQUEST_URI" variables, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
