Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Wesnoth, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error in the "truncate_message()" [src/server/server.cpp] function when handling UTF-8 data, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a vulnerable client to crash, leading to a denial of service condition.
