Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in CA BrightStor Hierarchical Storage Manager, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system.
The first issue is caused by buffer overflow errors in various CsAgent service commands, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected service or execute arbitrary code.
The second vulnerability is caused by integer overflow errors in various CsAgent service commands, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected service or execute arbitrary code.
The third issue is caused by input validation errors in the CsAgent service when processing SQL statements, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
