A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the "CFileFind::FindFile()" function within the "mfc42.dll" and "mfc42u.dll" libraries when processing an overly long argument, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code via an application linked against the vulnerable library (e.g. HP All-in-One Series Web Release or HP Photo & Imaging Gallery).

Solution
