Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Media Player Classic and MPlayer, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by buffer overflow errors when processing a specially crafted AVI file with a malformed "indx" chunk, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted AVI file.
