Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX and Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain elevated privileges. This issue is caused by an error in the way the application handles setuid binary files, which could be exploited by malicious authenticated users to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
