A vulnerability has been identified in Hexamail Server, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the POP3 module when processing an overly long argument passed to the "USER" command, which could be exploited by remote unauthenticated attackers to crash an affected server or execute arbitrary code via a specially crafted request.
