Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Firebird, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service, obtain sensitive information or potentially compromise an affected system.

The first issue is caused by a buffer overflow error when processing attach/create database commands whith a filename that exceeds "MAX_PATH_LEN", which could be exploited by malicious users to crash an affected server or execute arbitrary code.

The second vulnerability is caused by an error when a client connected via XNET registers various events simultaneously, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected server.

The third issue is caused by an error when processing overly large network packets containing garbage data, which could be exploited by attackers to exhaust all available memory resources.

The fourth vulnerability is caused by an unspecified error that could allow a remote attacker to determine the existence of arbitrary files on a vulnerable server.

The fifth vulnerability is caused by an error when using Services API, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service.
