A vulnerability has been identified in eCentrex VOIP Client, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. This issue is caused by a buffer overflow error in the Ecentrex SIP UA Com Module (e800) (euacom.dll) ActiveX control when processing an overly long argument passed to the "ReInit()" method, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.

Solution
Set a kill bit for the CLSID {BD80D375-5439-4D80-B128-DDA5FDC3AE6C}.
VUPEN Security is not aware of any vendor-supplied patch.
