A vulnerability has been identified in Linux Kernel, which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security restrictions and obtain elevated privileges. This issue is caused by an error in the " i915_dispatch_batchbuffer()" [drivers/char/drm/i915_dma.c] function, which could allow local attackers who are logged into X and and have access to direct rendering to obtain elevated privileges.
