Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in various HP OpenView products, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. These issues are caused by buffer overflow errors in the Shared Trace Service when processing malformed requests, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges by sending a specially crafted request to an affected system.
