A vulnerability has been identified in OpenSSL, which could be exploited by local attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. This issue is caused by an error in the "BN_from_montgomery()" [openssl/crypto/bn/bn_mont.c] function, which could allow a malicious user to retrieve encryption keys and potentially decrypt messages that were encrypted using a vulnerable application.
